I suffer from chronic sinusitis. I also smoke cigarettes and have off and on for the last 20 years. My sinus condition has gotten progressively worse the last 4 or 5 years. I never connected smoking with sinusitis (maybe I didn’t want to) but as most suffers know, chronic sinusitis can be a miserable condition that significantly impairs your quality of life.

If you have chronic sinusitis, you may have difficulty breathing through the nose, experience frequent headaches and tenderness in the face or aching behind the eyes. You may also have frequent yellow or greenish discharge from your nose or drainage down the back of your throat.

I’ve decided to quit smoking sometime this month. I have quit before using Nicorette gum. It helped, but the first two weeks I chewed so much gum my jaw ached and I had constant heartburn.

I’m looking for an alternative to Nicorette gum and have 24 days left to find it.

In searching for chronic sinusitis and other lung ailments, I found myself at Cancer Tutor the lung cancer and emphysema page.

The following two paragraphs are directly from Cancer Tutor.

First of all, chronic sinusitis is caused by a fungus. Even orthodox medicine admits that. Osteoarthritis is an inflamatory disease. The foods most suspected of creating this inflammation are rich in fungi, moulds and yeasts. The natural foods used to treat or prevent hypertension are very similar to the natural foods used to treat or prevent cancer, meaning these two diseases have something in common. Furthermore, these two diseases have many of the same causes, such as tobacco, which is loaded with fungi and yeasts.

Lung cancer, when caused by smoking, is almost always highly associated with a fungus. This is because most people who get lung cancer got it because they smoked (or from second-hand smoke). Tobacco is very, very high in fungus. Fungus is probably the main thing that makes tobacco addictive and fungus is one of the things that causes cancer.

I always try to verify the information I receive from any website and I have found the above information to be true. I suggest anyone reading this post to do the same.

I’m not affiliated with Cancer Tutor, I just found it an interesting site and since the alternative cancer treatments can’t hurt you, why not? I had a friend die from bladder cancer. He was able to hide the symptoms from me until it was too late. From the time he was diagnosed he had two months to live.

I did not know about alternative treatments then but did study the preferred treatment for bladder cancer. If his cancer had been caught sooner the preferred treatment might have worked, who knows? I for sure would have tried alternative medicine.

I know stop smoking is the right thing to do. I will be able to breath easier, have more energy and hopefully cure my chronic sinusitis. If I’m lucky I will escape having lung cancer or emphysema or any of the other cancers that smoking cigarettes cause.

I’m trying three supplements recommended on the lung cancer or emphysema page. I don’t have lung cancer or emphysema (as far as I know) but I do have chronic sinusitis.

The first of these is SpectraZyme. It contains three of the most potent anti-fungal substances. The other two products are required to remove the waste products of fungus (which are called “mycotoxins”) from the body. These products are MycoDetox I and MycoDetox II.
