What is intelligence? Is intelligence inherited or learned? The average person uses less than 15% to 20% of their mental ability. This means that everybody has untapped mental resources that have never been developed and used. So maybe all of us are smarter than we think!

IQ Tests are designed to measure your intelligence. While experts say you cannot actually improve your intelligence, regular testing will enable you to increase your powers of vocabulary, calculation and logical reasoning.

A high score on an IQ test is not the only way to determine our brainpower or how successful in life we will be, but it can increase analytical thinking & problem solving skills, leading to improved performance on tests, academic courses, and in jobs requiring analytic & problem solving skills.

I took this I.Q. test years ago and was able to answer correctly 3 out of every 6 questions. 50/50, that doesn’t seem too bright. I re-took the same test recently and was able to answer 4-6 questions correctly. So, I believe intelligence is inherited and learned.

I will list 6 questions each day and at the end of the test will give the answers, explanations and scoring instructions. I will tell you now that the average I.Q. is between 90 and 110. A score between 110 and 119 indicates bright intelligence. A score between 120 and 129 indicates superior intelligence. A score of 130 or over is indicative of giftedness. A score over 160 is considered a “genius”. If you have a score between 80 and 90 you’ll still be taking this test come Christmas. A score below 80 and you wouldn’t even be on the internet.
