Writing Articles and Getting Paid For It

Hi Friends,

Been really busy lately with money making schemes, trying just about anything to make a few extra bucks. I’m a hairdresser by trade and it seems that most people in this small town (just outside Columbus) are putting off getting their hair or nails done as long as they can. Good for them but not for me.

I have found another way to make some extra money writing on the internet, maybe anyone reading this already knows about it but I thought I would spread the word in case someone else would want to try it.

If you blog or just like to write, go to www.associatedcontent.com. They will pay for your articles. I know there are a few other places that pay for articles but I’ve only been doing this for a month and I’m still learning the ropes.

Before you say you can’t write well enough for someone to pay for it, (which is what I did) read some of the articles AC has accepted and paid for. I can guarantee you’ll change your mind.

This isn’t instant money or even a weekly paycheck I know, but I’m trying to think long term and if you read about the ‘featured sources’ at AC you’ll see some of them are now writing full time and not just for AC. Such possibilities!!

The only way you or I get paid is when we write an article and Associated Content accepts it. The up front payment is anywhere from $3 to $25. (mostly around $3) You’ll make most of your money by the performance payments. In other words, you need for people to click on your article so it has to do well in the search engines and you do have to promote your articles which is what I’m doing now. :)

Just check it out and let me know what you think. If you decide to try it let me know and I will post some of the mistakes I made that you can avoid making. (like how to avoid plagiarizing) Also, under Featured Sources (see below) many of the full timers write helpful tutorials, very good. Don’t buy anyone’s ebook, its not necessary.

Lets help each other out! If you write articles post the address here and I will read them. Anyone else reading this could post the article address on their page to encourage their friends to read them.
